On a whim I plugged it back in the next morning and lowered the temp settings. It came on and has been working fine ever since. ya i tried that unplug to reset thing, it didnt help at all. im guessing its the temperature control board since it acts like it is turned off

the water everywhere was the ice in ice maker melting and running down the freezer door

what makes it worse is its a samsung, i had one guy just say no he wont work on it and hang up, when i told him it was samsung
