calm environment a fogger will work short term.... slight breeze and someone else is enjoying your fogger. it needs to have time to settle in an area. The propane mosquito collectors work but they are designed to attract. so dont put them near where you wanna chill.

Best thing i have found is Bifen and Permethrin mixed in a spryer double what th mix says with water and spray everything down and then the yard for about 30 yds out. hit any wet spots and standing water. repeat after rain storms. I can comfortable sit on our porch with fans on while neighbors cannot.

Permethrin and bifenthrin are both synthetic pyrethroids of pyrethrin.

Pyrethrin is the natural extract of the Chrysanthemum family of flowers. It has fast knockdown properties. Good for flies because it gets them before they can haul arse. My pyrethrin will knock a horse fly out of the air.

Talstar ( bifenthrin ) and Permethrin10% lend longevity to your mix solution.

Pyrethrin degrades in a few hours.

That’s why we use both pyrethrin and Talstar. I don’t touch permethrin. I don’t like it because it’s nasty. Talstar is more pleasant to use.

On the fogger.

Who ever gets one I guarantee you will enjoy it. You can put a 45degree louver on the nozzle to do soffits and trees.

It’s fun when the termites swarm. You knock them down by the millions and the chickens love eating them the next day.

We have ran ours on a wooded “ island “ surrounded by marsh and only five hundred yards from the beach of the GOM. Lots of bugs.

Nothing where we fogged in the lower trees. Nothing.

Everything I have is Stihl. Chain saw, blower, weed eater. Can’t go wrong .
