re: Bodkin - Netflix

Watched this, pretty entertaining for most of it.

Got a little cheesy and collapsed at the end in some ways, IMO, which seems to happen a lot with these series.

I think Dove's history/background was worthwhile but it was just sort of crammed in oddly in the last 2 episodes. I think stretching out that over the course of the series would have made more sense and wouldn't have seemed so campy.

I think they probably missed an opportunity to do a more substantive Troubles tie in rather than the more generic and less interesting "smuggling" narrative, but I'm sure they had reasons
