Because to me the goal isn’t to get someone who is exactly BIs level- the goal is to find a player who fits this team better and makes us a better overall team. To me its main reason you’re trading BI to begin with.

Also you have to consider the trade as a whole. Meaning its not just the draft pick but also the player you’re getting from the team for BI. So the question is can the draft pick and the player you get be a better fit and make your team better than BI?
