Pensacola Area Recs?

Going on family vacation first week of June. Staying at the Portofino Island Resort.
Brother and I think we can squeeze 3 rounds out of our wives for the week.
Pristine conditions are not required, but wouldn’t mind driving 45 minutes/1 hour to go a little higher end one day, but need to keep it within 15-20 minutes from the resort on the other two rounds.
Anybody played down there recently?
He’s about a 10 HC and I’m hanging around 15. We tend to spray it off the tee at times, so don’t send us to water lined fairways.

Tiger Pointe is a solid course.

Tiger Point and Hidden Creek (Navarre) are decent options

Craft Farms is pretty solid. Played there for the first time last year.

I make a yearly trip to Pensacola and usually just travel to Destin or the Orange Beach area to play for the day as Pensacola golf isn't as nice.
Last year I tried Stonebrook and was really surprised how nice it was as a country club type course. You might want to take a look at it.

Tiger Pointe is good course. Play there 4/5x’s a year. Got a tee time there for Friday May 24th. Also play Perdido Bay a bit. It was struggling after Sally but it’s coming along and they seem to be sinking some money into it lately. But it’s still about an hour from where you’re staying. Craft Farms is just too dang far of a drive from Portofino (1.5 hr)

Yeah, it’s probably a hair too far. We could probably get away with the Perdido Bay trek, but looks like Stonebrook is about 15 minutes less of a drive.
Tiger Pointe twice and Stonebrook or Perdido Bay may be the play here.
Would Tiger Pointe frown on/be too crowded for a 6 year old to tag along on a weekday morning?

Stonebrook is a great course. I lived there for two years. Bubba Watson lived across street from me his first year on tour. I hear he still plays it a good bit.

I doubt they would mind. They've been pretty easy going everytime I've been.
