Are they taking a portion of those virgin girls, slitting their throats upon an altar, and setting their bodies on fire as an offering to Yahweh? Are they keeping the remaining young virgin girls as sex slaves? Are the Israelites commanding Yahweh to cause the sun to stand still in the firmament of heaven so that they can have more daylight for killing?
