It wasn't unusual to need Entergy (or someone like that) to purchase a big chunk of remaining tickets late in the week just to lift the TV blackout.
yes, the Curley years was a bad attendance stretch for LSU.
but before and after that Death Valley has easily put the Dome to shame in both numbers and atmosphere.

Was at LSU in 2003 and lived in New Orleans during the 2009 season.
