You apparently haven’t seen Suggs play since his rookie season

Suggs was a serviceable guard on a mid-tier team. He's not a starter on a playoff team and he just finished his age 22 year. He turns 23 in a few weeks.

His PER was 14.1. After his huge leap in his age 22 season, his PER was below the league average.

It's unlikely he'd start for us unless we dealt CJ, too. He's nowhere close to a lead guard. He'll need 2 more major jumps in successive seasons to even get into the discussion.

You really don't think that Suggs could be a starter on a playoff team?

Is Herb Jones a starter on a playoff team? His PER was 13.2 this season.

Suggs is a lockdown guard who hits open shots and moves the ball, similar to KCP.

I agree that he's not a lead guard, but he's definitely starter level. He's also a bit redundant if we're keeping Herb (which we should be).
