Nobody ever questioned these numbers until a few months ago and now it has become a "Hamas is lying" campaign. But, like you said, great, it is only 8-10k, then. Wow, awesome! We could do this with deaths on Oct 7 and IDF gunning down people...
More importantly, the buildings are mostly gone. This is from Haaretz a few months ago. And Blinky explained the hunger situation. The medical personnel say this is unlike anything they have ever seen.
