Paperclip is low key one of the most disgusting and morally reprehensible thing the US has ever done. To overlook the Malmedy Massacre, among other more obvious things, is just repugnant.

I think you are confused. Not only were the perpetrators of the Malmedy Massacre of December 1944 tried and convicted of war crimes, the U.S. conducted reprisals against German soldiers for the massacre at Chenogne just two weeks later.
