This is a good question op. Yes it happens within 6 months so what you have to try and do is get your feet in something else you love or is a good possibly investment (real estate maybe) so you still have some responsibility and can actually possibly make more then when you actually freaking worked. Trust me on this one.
You are smarter now then when you were young simply because of experiences you have had in life and your work life. It’s a great resource.
