It was no where near enough. My Dad flew from Nah Trang to Saigon every other week. C-130's that had been dumping the shite the week before. He had an advanced rapid growth colon cancer that spread to his liver and took him within weeks. Doctors blamed it on Agent Orange ....There was no cancer in my Mom's or Dad's family.
The three sons had to endure colonoscopies every three years afterwards. I said to hell with this after the fifth one ......Not one of us had an issue. We don't live with the fear of cancer ....But the damned government owes us ....

Veterans have been getting benefits from this settlement since 1984. And veteran's survivors are eligible as well. My father qualified and my mother receives his benefits after he passed away. We had trouble trying to get online approval so we went to a local VA office in Gonzales and the caseworker there was great. Cut through all the red tape and got my Dad what he deserved.
