I was actually good in her class but she personally hated me because I constantly sassed off in class. There was mutual respect though given she knew I was interested in and pretty good at her scientific studies. She never gave me detention once and she’d sass off right back to me. Had to respect that to a certain degree.

I won 2nd in the state science fair that year and asked if she was happy with me. Her response: “Well if you weren’t in 2nd then we would have come in 1st!” Yeah, thanks for that Mrs Goodwin! I beat 2500 other people, but the fact that I was only beaten by one other person in the state meant I was a fricking loser. Yeah frick you bitch!

Very hilariously I did the same experiment my senior year of high school (ie I did nothing but pose for pictures) and quite frankly all science fair is is selling yourself where I always went to state. I was however forbidden from doing the same science experiment twice… but I was a senior, knew it was a champion project, and didn’t care. Won 2nd in State again which resulted in a minor scholarship… and she was there and pissed remembering my science project. I just told her that I had no idea what she was talking about and this project was completely unique.

She was a good teacher even if she was a bitch.
