I was quoted around 1300 for a brake job on my F-150 about a year ago.
I ordered a complete set of power stop rotors and brakes online and went on youtube and watched a how to video. It took me about three hours to do it in my driveway and the brake kit was around 400 dollars.
My truck is high enough off the ground where I don't need ramps to change my oil. It takes me longer to get the tools out than it does to actually change the oil.
