I have felt genuine sadness, appreciation, and respect in all the times I've had to take the life of a mammal - whether I raised or hunted them. I do not give a single frick about wringing a chicken's neck and dressing them immediately.

Never forget, birds are basically mini-dinosaurs. Just because they're tasty, doesn't mean they can't and won't frick you up if you underestimate them. Especially roosters, they can be real dicks which is why the British called them cocks and it has stuck ever since.
