The plan was to bat him leadoff at beginning of season and he hit inferior pitching well but when SEC play started he fell on his face and was moved to bottom of order.Against 2 of weakest teams in conference Jay moved him back to leadoff. Why who knows? But the results are .170 BA and .291 OBP.
