The real question is, in the new NIL free agency era, will the smaller schools, lower profile athletes, and more consistent rosters be a better football product than the Power 5 schools. Obviously less heralded recruits and smaller fanbases but just in terms of the product on the field?
Part of the reason why we love college football is the players on the field representing the school and the location that we love. That is being lost with a new roster every 10 months.
