Got a 2000 F150 and my fiancée has a 2004 Silverado 1500, aside from normal maintenance items neither truck has had any issues. Water pump and alternator in her truck that I've replaced about 7 years ago, mine has everything original except brake pads/rotors and one rear brake bulb.
