A really good AAU program and league gets a kid tons of looks from college coaches. High school ball? Not so much.

As a former HS coach that was blessed enough to have several kids that went on to play at the next level this is just flat out false. AAU is a shell of what it was. It's barely real basketball. All the kids I had that got the opportunity to play at the next level were recruited in our gym. They came to games and practices. They met with the kids in my office. Of course playing AAU can help all that but just because it's easier to see a bunch of kids at once.
