My wife had one last year. Doctor nicked some tissue removing the scope. Unfortunately, she had to have a second one 12 hours later to fix what the first doctor had messed up. The ER visit was an extra $28,000. Still fighting with insurance and the doctor to get them to pay. Should have been 100% covered by insurance.

Yea…at least the Drs insurance should have covered it.

I sent the stool sample last year that came out clean but started thinking of going in for the real one sooner than later. My research has led me to reading about injuries and people getting perforated. How can this happen so ofen?
