My parents had their bathroom redone ten years ago. The glass door like that didn’t shut right and my dad diagnosed the problem that the glass was upside down, and flipping it and reattaching the hardware would solve everything.

So at Christmas he drags my brother and me in there. We get the glass door down, flip it, and I was holding the glass while they reattached the hinges. Something got torqued just right and the entire door instantly shattered in my hands.

My mom heard it and didn’t even come check on us. Just got up and left the house to go shopping for a while.
