Now both spouses have to work to scrape by and do not get home until 6:00 at night. Sorry that these lazy millennials don't have time to make a 4 hour meal in 45 minutes. It's not long after that that it's time for baths and getting the little ones ready for bed. And that doesn't account for the folks who have multiple jobs to keep up with inflation because they've essentially taken 10-15% inflation pay cuts year over year.

Looking at labor statistics it will show that the majority of retired folks over 75 have almost 8 hours of leisure time a day. Millennials report 5.5 hours a day of leisure time. It took me 15 minutes to put red beans and sausage in a crock pot yesterday prior to leaving home. 10 minutes to prepare cornbread and make rice. Today it will be a 9.00 chuck roast that took 3 minutes to drop in pot and will make mashed potatoes and some frozen vegetalbes in about 20 minutes of time. This dramatic bullcrap of needing 4 hours to make a meal is laughtable.
