Found the same anchor boating off the IW at Masonboro figure 8 various islands. They boarded boats and went through coolers. Checked for the whistle, proper life vests and were Barney Fifing robots buzz kills.
Even boarded private propery off the river to check for fishing licenses.
Same with Kure Beach Pier had locals go the back way and they set up DUI checkpoints.
It really isn't worth drinking anymore...We used to have a blast in sound-made natural hot tubs and drink sitting on a chair in the sound. Cooking crab boils. These guys were looking to fill a quota & $$$$$$. I have seen people ripping drunk go unchecked. So it isn't safety all the way, it's $
