Millard Fillmore: not much
Franklin Pierce: not much
Rutherford B. Hayes: you mean “Rutherfraud, His Fraudelncy”? Decent history regarding an election that ultimately was decided extra constitutionally. Worth a chapter in an American history book.
James Garfield: he was shot so there is that.

Louisiana was involved in the fraudelncy due to voting irregularities, imagine that. Louisiana was one of 3 states that had different voting results certified by different state entities. the state legislature certified one set and the state voting commission the other. One political party knew they couldn’t win the state so they created the appearance of voter fraud. They stole their own party’s paper ballots en route to several parishes. After the election, said political party claimed the other side stole the ballots to keep their constituents from voting. Thus, the chaos began.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbanana1.gif)
