This is the result of the ever increasing suspended adolescence. She may be 24 years old in age, but she probably has the mindset and maturity of someone who is not THAT much older than 12. Probably more like 24 going on 15.

In previous generations the gap in maturity between 24 and 12 was VAST. It’s shrinking. You have a 15 year old mindset who knows no other context outside of school. She’s never been in an environment where most of the people around her weren’t kids. Thus, you have someone who probably doesn’t think this is all that wrong because she has more in common with a 12 year old than an adult in their late 20’s as opposed to others her age who work with actual adults daily
