To this day my favorite vacation ever was almost 30 years ago. I had been working heavy overtime pipelining in CO for over a year and when I was finally cut loose I got in touch with this girl I knew who was dancing in Dallas and flew her to San Diego where I rented a convertible and we spent 2-1/2 weeks driving up Cal1(PCH) with no particular itinerary other than we both had friends in the Bay area. fricking spectacular. I've tried to get my wife to take the same trip but of course she won't because I've already done it with another girl.

(The car was supposed to be a Porsche but when I got there they had a Mustang for me. That was a little disappointing but still a great trip. )
