I'm anti radical-leftist, it doesn't have much to do with my thoughts on Israel or Hamas TBH
The overwhelming majority of rioters and protesters know nothing of the conflict and are just latching on to fringe leftists causes like they always have. It's why socialist white kids claimed to support Fatah and Arafat in the 70s and why socialist IRA militants claimed kinship with Black September.
