Greene is making the right move. Johnson is making the right moves if you care about having a functioning state, but it’s an election year, and a state that isn’t functioning can only help the opposition party. The Republicans only have the house and so they can’t set the agenda. They can maybe negotiate water down the Biden agenda, or they can make sure the troops aren’t paid, and the national parks are closed all summer; and get people really furious heading into November
