I’ve believed for some time that “hate speech” type laws will be employed to silence Christians and Christian churches, strangling them in the pulpit where the gospel is preached and the word of God taught.

That Jewish Sadducees and Pharisees joined forces and conspired to eliminate their long awaited Messiah, Jesus Christ, by having the Roman occupiers crucify him is as clear as the noonday Sun.

That God created mankind male and female is likewise clear, and that adultery, homosexual acts and heterosexual acts outside the marriage covenant are disordered and sinful are equally clear.

All of these above and that Jesus Christ’s crucifixion, death, and resurrection are the sole means of forgiveness, salvation and freedom from sin, and the way to eternal life are equally offensive to the liberty hating, Christ hating spirit crouching hidden behind these laws.

Laws outlawing protected speech by naming certain speech hateful or “anti-Semitic or “anti-(inset allegedly persecuted group here) are wedges to exploit, expand, and ultimately eliminate our God given, Constitutionally protected rights to speak, to dissent, and ultimately, (for Christians) to freely proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
