It's true that QBs and offensive systems affect the numbers to varying degrees. Through that contextual lens, Clayton's numbers look even better.
With offensive systems nowadays, and how QBs are more developed and sophisticated earlier, there's a good chance the guys at the top of the record book will be overtaken by new names.
