The new Diawa Tanacom 1200 is what we recently purchased to replace our older Tanacom 1000's.
The new reels offer 1100 yds of 80 lb. braid, 30% faster retrieval from previous model, and 20% more power. Diawa also moved the motor and gearing inside the spool itself. Hard to beat for $799.
I would recommend either Bo's Custom Rods in Denham, or Connely Rods in Palm Beach, FL
