It's even worse than simply not fixing the problem - it's going to make the problem even worse.
College tuition has inflated by a ridiculous amount over the past 20-30 years. Much higher than just about anything else. And now they are going to keep raising it even more knowing Democrats will just cancel out all of the bad paper and roll it into our ballooning national deficit.
If the Federal Government announced new legislation to reimburse every American up to $500 for any money spent on candy bars then what do you think will happen to the price of that Snickers bar down at the corner market?
Republicans need to drive this message home to suburban moms. The Starbucks barista got $100k forgiven but your kid is going to pay a LOT more for college in a few years and there won't be another bailout by the time they graduate so you better vote for someone who is committed to fixing the problem at the source rather than throwing a bucket of gas on the fire.
