Certainly in the Episcopal Church in the United States this is a large part of it. The roots go deeper and farther back. Abandonment of Holy Scripture. Casting away basic orthodox Christian beliefs and teachings. A total lack of discipline respecting heretical teachings and practices. Infiltration of the seminaries to teach heterodox content and at the diocese level keep traditional orthodox men out of the seminaries and away from influential positions within the denomination.

Do these things and it’s not long before your denomination ordains women priests, makes an active homosexual man (divorced from his wife and living in sin with his male lover) a Bishop, and performs and blesses homosexual marriages.

Modestly calling themselves The Episcopal Church, they have become apostate and can hardly be called part of Christ’s church.
