I mean it very simply comes down to this.
If the kid was all about maximizing his potential and putting himself in the best position to be drafted next year, you go to the guy that's known for getting DTs in the league.
Nothing wrong with just wanting a NIL payday, but if it's about becoming the best player he can be then there's really no question where he would go.
