If youre paying $7/lb anywhere in the US, youre very much overpaying and not shopping smart at all. The only place I can imagine paying that much would be some farmers market where you overpay for everything because youre 'buying local'

Can confirm after going to Costco, they have seasoned garlic chicken wings (around 30+) for $4/lb.
