My mom had hearing loss, and dementia. The hearing loss came before the dementia.

I don't know about tinnitus, but I suspect she did. She would tell me that she was hearing a boat running behind the house she had lived in for 60 years. There was a creek back there that was an inch or two deep, so I think that may have been tinnitus.
