That ship has sailed imo. Maybe he'd grow a spine if Trump won and we took the Senate, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well reports are that's part of the reason why two weeks ago took place. Donald Trump was consulted with and worked with Mike Johnson and Lindsey Graham on how best to pass a funding bill that they together thought might be "palatable" for those on the conservative and populist side of the aisle. They all miscalculated the resulting outrage, in my unprofessional opinion.
