That, and also imagine having to use that tool to switch out the SIM card every single time your bank or other financial institution wants to provide you with a two factor authentication code to access your money, and refuse to let you use email or another workaround…. And using Google Voice to “park” your American phone number, or carrying a seperate American phone, or other similar options, all have their own drawbacks.. i learned all of this the hard way.. Much, much easier to just toggle back and forth between foreign and American SIMs within the same phone when needed .
