It's incredible.

We stayed downtown and took the subway across the river to the stadium a couple times, one time we walked because we wanted to see the Point Park downtown. Subway is free in that area, they only charge if you're coming in from the outlying areas. It was clean and packed, but we really only rode it before and after games.

I've lived in St Louis for a decade now and still haven't ridden public transportation here.
