I do it by mistake pretty often...plumbing parts are a good example. Who knows where that sch 40 3/4" PVC elbow came from? The only upside to buying shite from big box stores like Lowes and HD is being able to buy more than needed for a project and returning what you do not need. They actually encourage it LOL.
