Was it though? You also had a late night show titled...Politically Incorrect. There was obviously a movement big enough to inspire movies and TV shows. Was PC culture in the 90s as big as it is today? No. Was it as small as you make it seem to be? Nope.

It was lampooned because it STARTED during that era.

Then it largely fell out of favor

Then it had a comeback, apparently, at LSU in the 00's

Then MeToo, Ferguson, Trump, and Trans grooming caused an explosion
