Nope. Didn’t marry who they wanted me too, dropped out of college to get married (over 40 years and still going) didn’t want to take over the family business, etc, etc.

Buried my dad cause he died broke and wouldn’t listen, will probably do the same for my mother eventually.

Even after bailing him out on more than one occasion, I’m retiring this year with no debt and kids I see on a regular basis. So I’m fine being a disappointment in their eyes. I’m not in my wife and kids, which is what matters.
