Sounds like a Devery
People tend to underrate Devery Henderson because of how good Michael Clayton was at LSU. Henderson was a no-doubter deep threat, but I remember watching the Senior Bowl, where he was matched up (again) with the Oklahoma cornerback, who was an All American. Googling, I think it was Derrick Strait.
Strait just could not handle Devery in man coverage. I don't know if he was terrified of being burnt, but Devery caught a bunch of shorter (10 yd) routes on him. I remember that because it was a chance to see players from that team one more time, and thinking at the time "wow, so their unanimous All American can't handle our #2 WR".
I do recall the announcer remarking Strait just couldn't match up with Henderson, after about the 3rd pass to him.
