but could the improvement be attributed to facing weaker baseball teams? Other than the Tennessee game where he only got 1 hit, the teams they faced weren't exactly contenders.
Are you telling me hitters struggle more against better pitching? You know I’ve never thought about that

Lester I find it even more hilarious that you pick your favorites at the beginning of each season and defend them to the death no matter how they perform. You cherry pick stats and post what benefits you, Now please explain to me one more time how Kling hitting .167 in SEC play and Neal hitting .114 in SEC play is helping LSU win the SEC? Or does just certain stats for a short period benefit your argument? To win in the SEC u need to perform in the SEC not just a few games that Lester checks.

Please explain to me why you care about what some did in February and March in the month of April. Baseball isn’t linear

They tell the story of how well someone is playing right now, yes

Lineups are made based on who is playing well and who is not playing well. Baseball is a game of streaks but I’m sure you knew that.
Dies Rudy40 want them to keep the lineup the exact same every single day? Is it still relevant that Milaazo was hitting .435 thru March? Or that he is 3 for his last 18 & is striking out as much a Neal?
The ole “cherry picking” argument is what they always say when you can’t refute anything.

So the record in March doesnt count? LSUs stats and record in April according to you??????????

For making up a lineup in late April, do you care about what people’s season long stats are or who’s playing the best right now? Thats a rhetorical question btw

great leadoff walk, Pax! way to battle!

Kling is hitting .167 in SEC play and Neal is hitting .114 in SEC play now refute those stats Lester.

This is a fair post. I needed to hear this.

142 plate appearances with 37 strikeouts which is the worst on the team..nice try at deflecting from the fact that he DOES strike out way too much and doesn't need to leadoff.

He needs a nose job. He can’t see.

You were saying that no one was capable of being the leadoff hitter except for Kling as he was going 0 for every weekend hahaha

Jay just showed he doesnt even trust Kling enough to get his bat on the ball for a bunt. He PH Bingham for him to bunt......to bunt.

and look who is back leadoff.
After trying 7 other players there.
You are too stupid to even realize I was right. lmao

I can’t imagine a good case can be made for Kling over Larson at this point.
Posted on 4/27/24 at 9:37 pm to slackster
Cant imagine Kling being a good choice over anyone. Lester.... if Kling is so talented why did Jay pinch hit for him in the 9th to bunt????????
Posted on 4/27/24 at 9:39 pm to notbilly
Dude his BA is 217 overall. His out of conference is better than in SEC. You ever heard of a slump?
Posted on 4/27/24 at 9:40 pm to Lester Earl
Lmao yeah he’s been a great leadoff hitter. So good he’s getting pinch hit for in crucial situations.
Posted on 4/27/24 at 9:41 pm to Doctor K
It's not a slump. He is hitting .155 in SEC this year and below. 200 last year. That is who he is. He cannot hit SEC level pitching.
