I'm not sure we want to say that we want the next generation to live exactly like we did.

If we aren't doing things to make them progressively better. Then what is the point or the goal for the next generation?

This is whete these sorts of generational battles raise the problem. It's a reason the boomers are so selfish.

So your goal was to make sure the next generation can't be any better off than you? And they deserve it?
