People have too much JUNK instead of cash. I have a 2600 sq ft home and now that the kids are gone it’s too damn big. I now realize it was all a waste of money even though I dont accumulate JUNK. But of course the wife does as is the norm.
I will agree with this,but...

My parents (WWII) raised 8 kids in an 1100 sq ft. house and it never seemed like it was too small.
I'm not sure we want to say that we want the next generation to live exactly like we did.
If we aren't doing things to make them progressively better. Then what is the point or the goal for the next generation?
This is whete these sorts of generational battles raise the problem. It's a reason the boomers are so selfish.
So your goal was to make sure the next generation can't be any better off than you? And they deserve it?

This is weak-minded nonsense by US-raised millennials. Get out there and get what you can. If you fail, look inward.
