Biden is an always has been an absolute arse of a human being. The idea that he was some sort of return to civility and normalcy may be the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.

Preposterous!

My own mom told me that she was voting for Biden in 2020 because "he's a genuinely nice man".

I quite literally laughed out loud as it was very apparent that she had no intention of ever seeing the myriad plethora of video, audio and legislative evidence contrary to her bold assertion.

She honestly fricking said "Trump is mean and a bad person. Biden might not be a really strong candidate but he's a genuinely nice person."

How the hell can you even argue with such delusion? I had no rebuttal other than laughing out loud, because there was no rebuttal to offer, that would have resulted in anything but a drastically truncated vacation visit. She certainly thought she won that one by silencing me... Fact is, I shut my mouth and disengaged because there was obviously no chance of civil discourse.

We haven't talked politics since then, period. I'm hearing she's not at all happy with Biden and wants to vote for RFK2 because she still suffers from TDS. Given that she's in one of those formerly solid Red states that are changing because of an influx of liberals fleeing California (including herself as she did years prior), it's probably a good sign to see the swing state liberals leaning towards Kennedy.

Apologies for the anecdotal digress and the delve into the psychological enigma of liberal logic. Carry on.
