Because Mitchell has 1 year left on his contract and basically 0 chance of returning to Cleveland.


Also, the CLE roster is much better than the Lakers roster IMO.

Mitchell has one year left on contract so trade for a 40 year old who doesnt play defense and is injury prone, who is also only going to be there for one year? Cavs would be better off trading Mitchell for picks and a role player who is under the age of thirty

Ad is a top 75 player, there is no other team LeBron can realistically go to and get more help than he has now
