GS, as a hall of fame saints talk poster I got nothing but love for you. Fuaga is 1000% a tackle.
I know him moving to guard is just discussion but nothing about him besides a few scouting blurbs suggests he’s a guard to me

The tape looks fine to my eyes but it's a different animal in the league. I think it's important to note what guys who actually study and coach the OL position are saying. We are the team that misidentified Peat, Ruiz, and Penning, after all.
Again, this isnt my opinion. The only "take" i'll offer is, the need to for a OT has been stressed to death and rightfully so. If he misses, you still need to find a tackle. Guards are not as hard to find. I dont think anyone would have taken a guard over Turner, Murphy, Latu, Verse etc. It's not like we are only hurting at one position. You just hope we never need to have that conversation
