Funny thing but grade sharing actually IS a thing and has been for 50+ years at least.
My Uncle Junior (literally named Junior on his bc) was the starting pitcher at LaTech in the 50’s when Dad and Mom went there too (and a couple other siblings of Dad, remember he was 1/10 siblings).
Anyway, Uncle Junior ended up somehow getting the same calculus class as Dad the Civil Engineering student. Uncle Junior was a forestry and ag major. At the end of the semester Uncle Junior had a D and Dad his usual A. Unbeknownst to Dad Uncle Junior went to the professor and somehow convinced him to average their grades due to them being in-laws. Dad had no idea until he got a B for his final grade and Uncle Junior kept his eligibility (drafted to the majors before they paid big so he decided to work for the wildlife and fisheries department ended up in Ga and developed commercial strains of peanuts.)
The only non A Dad ever had on his college transcript was courtesy of Uncle Junior. He even got an A when he went back to a couple of classes on economics and marketing when he was 50+ and needed to know the material for the job he was promoted to.
