Plays a part. Younger people are taking a gummy instead of drinking (see yesterday’s THC thread). Also, beer gotten too big (too many breweries) and cost of doing business has gotten too expensive for some. Not the first and not the last brewery to close. Brieux Carré Brewing Co. was recently asking for donations.

The difference, though, is brieux carre makes fantastic beer and they are only about beer. Faubourg/dixie was and is historically shitty beer.
BC is also much smaller and since the donation announcement seem to be doing a little better. They just opened up another room for patrons to drink and relax.
